Jessica Flowers (Choreographer)
Jessica Flowers is an experienced creative choreographer, movement director, and arts advocate who focuses on bringing communities together through the power of expression. Backed by three decades of industry work spanning over 150 musical productions, show choir sets, and audition workshops nationwide, she brings deep artistic expertise to every stage she touches. As a dedicated educator and choreographer for local theatre programs, Jessica is grounded in the belief that great movement starts with a safe foundation. She utilizes her credentials—including a BA in Theater from Arizona State University and advanced studies from the University of London—alongside certifications in Trauma-Informed Care and Healing-Centered Engagement to design supportive, inclusive spaces. Through this collaborative approach, she makes storytelling accessible to non-trained dancers, ensuring every unique individual feels secure enough to take creative risks and truly shine. Her ultimate goal is to leverage her 20 years of experience shaping youth and arts non-profit programming to build transformative environments where humans can connect, heal, and create magical experiences together.
Joe Flowers (Acting Director)
Joe Flowers is an experienced professional actor, director, and theatre educator who focuses on bringing communities together through the power of performance. Backed by an MFA in Acting from Illinois State University and a BA from Arizona State University, he brings over fifty professional stage credits and award-winning independent filmmaking experience directly into his classrooms. As the long-time theatre program director for the North Valley Arts Academies at Shadow Mountain High School, Joe is grounded in the belief that great art starts with a safe foundation. He focuses his specialized credentials in script analysis, Meisner technique, and on-camera coaching to create deeply supportive, inclusive spaces where students feel empowered to collaborate and grow. Through this immersive instructional approach, he guides young artists to transform standard scripts into magical, dynamic productions rooted in great storytelling. His ultimate goal is to use his extensive industry background to design transformative educational environments where humans can connect, take creative risks, and build confidence together.
Judy Durocher (Music Director)
Dr. Judith Durocher is an experienced vocalist, choral conductor, and music educator. Backed by a Ph.D. in Music Education from the University of Arizona and over thirty years of professional performance and teaching experience, she brings elite artistic expertise to local ensembles and classrooms. As a dedicated high school, college, and private vocal coach, Judy is grounded in the belief that true artistic growth starts with a safe foundation. She pairs her extensive music credentials with a Master of Counseling from Arizona State University to create uniquely supportive, inclusive spaces where singers improve their skills and gain confidence. She has successfully built celebrated, award-winning vocal music programs at several prominent local high schools. She also taught at the community college and university levels. Her ultimate goal is to leverage her rich background in performance, education and counseling to design musical environments where humans can connect, challenge themselves to develop skills and become more confident one success at a time.
Joe Folan (Off-Stage Director)
After learning a few notes on the recorder for the lead role in his 4th-grade production of The Pied Piper and later being replaced as Officer Krupke in a high school performance of West Side Story (his Irish accent just wasn’t up to snuff), Joseph Folan stepped away from the arts for many years. However, finding a renewed passion for musical theatre later in life has been a great joy for him. From watching and performing with his daughter, to regular visits to theatres across the valley with his wife, Joseph is passionate about the value of the performing arts and the impact they can have on our lives. He cannot sing, but he also can’t dance or act, so his role at the camp is very much a supporting one. Yet, he is incredibly proud to be a founding member of Act Two and promises to do all he can to make your time with us fun and memorable.
Courtney Sullivan (Cheering Section Director)
So after years of enthusiastically claiming her rightful place as "Best Ensemble Member Ever," Courtney's musical theatre career reached its peak in high school, where she found her favorite place to be was anywhere on stage with a cast full of friends.
Life eventually led her from the spotlight to the audience, where she proudly embraced her next starring role as a dedicated stage mom, cheering on her daughter through countless rehearsals, performances, and theater adventures. Staying connected to the arts through her daughter only deepened her appreciation for the friendships, confidence, and joy that theater brings. Being a founding member of Act Two is a dream come true—a chance to rediscover the magic of rehearsals, shared laughter, backstage chaos, and the incredible community that first made her fall in love with musical theatre. She's thrilled to be part of helping others create those same unforgettable memories.
